....

it's been a while since i've last posted (is that right?)...

things on my mind:

1. virginia tech massacre...
this really sucks... it's really awful how stress and depression, put together, causes so much destruction.. so much pain to many... one thing that really struck me was, in a way - touching, how an old man - a professor from the univesity, used his body to block the door of the classroom.. he did it so that his students would have time to jump out of the window.. this tragedy will surely haunt the world, particularly the families of those who were brutally murdered by this disturbed teenager...

We will continue to invent the future through our blood and tears and through all our sadness ... We will prevail ...

2. trip to Verde Island - happy thought, happy thought
we went to Verde Island on the 8th of April... we took a three hour trip to Batangas port and an hour and a half cruise to get to the island... the long trip was definitely WORTH doin'... we were welcomed by our manager with glasses of cold tea and flower petals... we stayed in two air conditioned cottages with private bathrooms and all that stuff... breakfast, lunch and dinner were all buffet style (yebah!) and the food was great! we used the pool at night cause it was pretty risky to go to the beach at night... the following morning, my mom woke us up at quarter to seven in the morning! damn! i was still in a bad mood from being woken up that early so i wasn't talking to anyone while we were takin a stroll on the beach.. though it was a very beautiful sunrise, it was...

of course we had to eat first.. then came the best part of the vacation.. snorkling! it wasn't really the snorkling part that got me all in a mad fit :D (though i do love seeing the view under water).. it was the guy who helped us do the thing properly.. batik, a pretty weird name for an english speaking teenager who had not a single spot on his body (hehe)... OMFG! he was so f***in cute!!! haha! really!
what else happened? oh.. and yah! the cruise back was pretty scary.. big waves... i wasn't that scared coz my batik was going to save me!!! hehe! (if his bones don't get crushed by my weight!) :D

3. nagplantsa ako kagabi!

4. Calculus with Analytic Geometry - Introduction to Computing
f*** adamson university... note to self & to everybody else concerned: AU doesn't want anyone to graduate on time, so don't ever (if given other options) transfer to Adamson if you wish to finish on time (too late, for me)...i enrolled ITC last semester and too bad for me, the section was dissolved.. i was included in another schedule for ITC, then after a week of copying notes, i had to prioritize trigonometry and drop ITC... this summer.. i enrolled ITC (8-12) & Calculus (12-15:20)... i was so relieved coz of the schedules provided for us... there was no conflict... and i really had to take ITC & Calculus at the same time coz it is a pre-requisite for ComProg1 which is a ComSci/Major subject... then when i was about to pass my list for encoding... i saw that the schedule of the Calculus was changed to 8-11:20!!!!! f***! that was around 5o'clock already.. and mind you, i was already in school at quarter to 8! so i had to go back that coming friday.. the last day of enrollment, so that i could check on the availability of an open schedule.. when i went back... the schedule of the ITC was then changed to 12 to sometime in the afternoon and the calculus still remained to be scheduled for the morning.. so that was just right for me... when i asked to SA in the Math Dept... she said that the Calculus was full!!! sh*t! what are you trying to do to me?! then i had to sign a petition to be included to the Calculus and i went to the encoding section so that i could be added to the list of ITC takers.. okay so all i had to do was to wait for the availability of my Calculus.. when summer classes started, i went to the class of the Calculus in the morning as a sit-in.. then waited for the ITC professor in the afternoon... noone else arrived but two of my other classmates... the next day i found out that the ITC was dissolved coz there were only the three of us who were enrolled... so the chairman of the compsci dept said that he would just include us to the list of the ITC for the IT course... oh sure that was a big help! the schedule of that was from 9 in the morning.. nice! so now.. to make the story short i am only taking Calculus.. good thing that my professor in calculus is also my professor in trigo last sem, and she does recognize me and asks me a lot of times to answer the problems on the board..
