kung fu hustle

sa hindi ko alam na dahilan, wala kaming cable for almost a week na... almost a week of my dad trying hard to tolerate the insufferable TV shows of the local channels **he loathes pinoy actors & actresses, well i do too*** there was even this one show 'Love Spell', i think, when my mom pointed out to me an actor playing a gay(? - i'm not sure, parang naging babae DAW ata siya dun sa palabas) role as Deither Ocampo, and my dad quickly corrected her, "Deither?! Si Jericho yan...". We were sooooo surprised! Yes, my dad really does have that fast-learning-easy-memorizing type of brain - but when it comes to Pinoy Showbiz?! NEVAH! so i'll give him props for that instance! anyways.. i just wanted to type in that part....

back to kung fu hustle... as i have said, we recently have been watching shows from GMA and ABS-CBN, QTV and Studio 23 (ayos na sana toh eh)... last night, my dad decided to watch GMA... Daddy-DiDoDu, a show starring Vic Sotto.. then Kung Fu Hustle... I've heard some comments/reviews about this show saying that it was corny and exagerated....

the exagerated part, i had to admit was true.. although i really don't think it was boring... the fight scenes had really good graphics although they were exagerated - but it was really good! there were lots of twists to the story, pretty good ones at that matter! two stars for the looks of the actors and actresses (i don't really like chinky-eyed looks).

what i'm trying to say here is that i liked the movie.. though i didn't get to finish the movie! argh! dad was drunk again and kept on repeating in his harsh voice that we SHOULD get to sleep... and we'd know better than to disobey him when he's drunk..

who's got a cd/dvd of this movie? can i PLEASE borrow yours.. i don't have those cards for Video City and all those other renting shops.. so can i pleaseeeee just borrow yours?
